Out on the Town: Waiting Until Dark

Richard Crenna, Samantha Jones, Audrey Hepburn and Julie Herrod  Crenna'a wife Penni (Hannah 'Penni' Smith Sweeny) during filming of  Wait Until Dark (1967)

Can anyone tell me the name of the man between Samantha Jones and Audrey Hepburn in this photo?  It's been driving me crazy.  I know that face, but I just cannot put a name to it.

Update 11/27/13-9:30pm.  Jim (see comments) has identified the mystery face as Jack Warner.  Duh!  :)

Update 10/7/14-9:00pm.  Harlow (see comment) has pointed out that the person on the right is NOT Julie Herrod.

  2. That's Jack Warner, of Warner Brothers (it's a Warner Bros film).

  5. I don't know who is talking to Dick Crenna, but it's not Julie Herrod. The woman talking to Jack Warner is Vanessa Redgrave !

    1. You're right about Julie Herrod. She played the child. Vanessa Redgrave was not in this movie and is not at that table. Thanks for the correction. :)

  6. The lady next to Richard Crenna is his wife Penni.

  7. I also think that's Vanessa Redgrave and not Samantha Jones next to Jack Warner - Miss Redgrave was in Camelot that same year as Wait Until Dark for Warner Brothers. Samantha Jones was a bit player in Wait Until Dark and a very busy global model. She was not one that normally showed up at movie/celebrity affairs. This is not a 'typical' lobby card.

  8. That is absolutely Vanessa Redgrave, and not Samantha Jones, next to Jack Warner. This isn't a still from the movie, but a photo of a dinner at the time the film was in production, and at the time, Redgrave was filming "Camelot" for Warner.
